Green silicon carbide F90 F100 for sandblasting

F90 and F100 green silicon carbide grits are high-purity, ultra-hard abrasive materials specially sized for precision sandblasting and fine surface finishing. Produced through high-temperature smelting, precise crushing and strict mesh classification, these SiC abrasives feature sharp angular grains, uniform particle distribution, excellent self-sharpening performance and ultra-low impurity content, fully meeting high-standard precision blasting requirements for industrial sophisticated workpieces.
With superior hardness and stable mechanical properties, F90 and F100 green silicon carbide stands out from traditional blasting abrasives. The medium-fine grain sizes balance efficient cleaning and delicate surface treatment perfectly. They are ideal for removing fine oxide films, tiny burrs, faint tool marks and residual contaminants on hard and brittle materials, as well as high-precision metal parts without causing excessive material loss or deep surface scratches.
These two standard mesh grades are widely applied in fine sandblasting of stainless steel components, titanium alloy parts, aerospace accessories, ceramic components, glass products and semiconductor auxiliary materials. They can form uniform, delicate and consistent matte surface textures, effectively improving surface flatness and roughness uniformity for subsequent spraying, plating and bonding processes.
Free of free silica and toxic substances, green silicon carbide complies with international environmental and industrial safety standards. It boasts low dust generation, good recyclability and stable blasting effect, avoiding surface damage and dimension deviation of precision workpieces. As reliable fine blasting media, F90 and F100 green silicon carbide are the preferred choices for high-precision industrial sandblasting and surface refinement.

The applications of Black silicon carbide powder?

Black silicon carbide powder is produced by smelting quartz sand and petroleum coke inside high‑temperature resistance furnaces. Featuring Mohs hardness of 9.2, good thermal conductivity, moderate electrical conductivity, excellent wear resistance and great chemical stability against acids and alkalis, this cost‑effective SiC material serves numerous industrial sectors across abrasive processing, thermal management, refractory metallurgy and advanced composite manufacturing.
Its most traditional and largest‑volume application lies in the abrasive and surface‑treatment industry. Graded black silicon carbide grits and micro‑powders are widely made into grinding wheels, abrasive belts, sandpapers and polishing pastes. It performs outstandingly for grinding cast iron, non‑ferrous metals such as aluminum, copper and brass, stone, marble, glass and low‑tensile‑strength non‑metallic workpieces. In sandblasting and water‑jet cutting operations, sharp‑edged black SiC particles efficiently remove rust, oxide scale, burrs and old coatings, achieving uniform matte surface finishing for machinery parts, casting components and hardware workpieces.
