Chemically stable green silicon carbide grit and powder with high thermal conductivity f90 green silicon carbide

Haixu Abrasives Green Silicon Carbide sand is produced at high temperature in an electric resistance type furnace with quarts sand and petroleum coke as its main raw materials. Its hardness is between fused alumina and synthetic diamond. Mechanical intensity of it is higher than fused alumina.it is brittle and sharp and has electrical and heat conductivity in some degree.

Haixu Abrasives Green Silicon Carbide sand  is an extremely hard (Knoop 2600 or Mohs 9.4) man made mineral that possesses high thermal conductivity (100 W/m-K).  Haixu Abrasives Green Silicon Carbide sand also has high strength at elevated temperatures (at 1000°C,Green Silicon carbide grains is 7.5 times stronger than Al2O3).  Haixu Abrasives Green Silicon Carbide sand has a modulus of elasticity of 410 GPa, with no decrease in strength up to 1600°C; Haixu Abrasives Green Silicon Carbide sand does not melt at normal pressures but instead dissociates at 2815.5°C. Haixu Abrasives Green Silicon Carbide sand is an entirely new batch composition made from Silica sand and coke, and is extremely pure.  Haixu Abrasives Green Silicon Carbide sand can be manufactured in many complex bonded shapes, which are utilized for super refractory purposes. Haixu Abrasives Green Silicon Carbide sand is also ideal for a wide variety of abrasive applications.

The applications of Black silicon carbide powder?

Black silicon carbide powder is produced by smelting quartz sand and petroleum coke inside high‑temperature resistance furnaces. Featuring Mohs hardness of 9.2, good thermal conductivity, moderate electrical conductivity, excellent wear resistance and great chemical stability against acids and alkalis, this cost‑effective SiC material serves numerous industrial sectors across abrasive processing, thermal management, refractory metallurgy and advanced composite manufacturing.
Its most traditional and largest‑volume application lies in the abrasive and surface‑treatment industry. Graded black silicon carbide grits and micro‑powders are widely made into grinding wheels, abrasive belts, sandpapers and polishing pastes. It performs outstandingly for grinding cast iron, non‑ferrous metals such as aluminum, copper and brass, stone, marble, glass and low‑tensile‑strength non‑metallic workpieces. In sandblasting and water‑jet cutting operations, sharp‑edged black SiC particles efficiently remove rust, oxide scale, burrs and old coatings, achieving uniform matte surface finishing for machinery parts, casting components and hardware workpieces.
