63C 64C 99% SiC Green silicon carbide

63C and 64C 99% SiC Green Silicon Carbide (GC) are high-purity artificial abrasive materials manufactured through high-temperature electric furnace smelting with premium quartz sand and petroleum coke. Featuring a minimum 99% SiC content and extremely low impurity levels of iron oxide and free carbon, these two grades comply with the Russian GOST standard and are widely recognized for consistent purity, stable chemical properties and outstanding grinding performance, distinguishing them from ordinary black silicon carbide and low-grade green silicon carbide.
This series of green silicon carbide features outstanding thermal stability and high-temperature strength, maintaining stable grinding performance under extreme working conditions. It is chemically inert, non-corrosive and free of free silica pollution, ensuring no contamination on polished workpieces. Available in full mesh sizes from coarse grains to ultra-fine powder, it supports customized grading for diverse processing needs.
Widely applied for precision grinding and mirror polishing of hard and brittle materials, including optical glass, ceramics, sapphire, cemented carbide, titanium alloy and semiconductor wafers. It is a premium abrasive choice for high-end precision grinding, CMP polishing slurry preparation and advanced refractory industries, serving global precision manufacturing markets with reliable and high-cost-performance solutions.

The applications of Black silicon carbide powder?

Black silicon carbide powder is produced by smelting quartz sand and petroleum coke inside high‑temperature resistance furnaces. Featuring Mohs hardness of 9.2, good thermal conductivity, moderate electrical conductivity, excellent wear resistance and great chemical stability against acids and alkalis, this cost‑effective SiC material serves numerous industrial sectors across abrasive processing, thermal management, refractory metallurgy and advanced composite manufacturing.
Its most traditional and largest‑volume application lies in the abrasive and surface‑treatment industry. Graded black silicon carbide grits and micro‑powders are widely made into grinding wheels, abrasive belts, sandpapers and polishing pastes. It performs outstandingly for grinding cast iron, non‑ferrous metals such as aluminum, copper and brass, stone, marble, glass and low‑tensile‑strength non‑metallic workpieces. In sandblasting and water‑jet cutting operations, sharp‑edged black SiC particles efficiently remove rust, oxide scale, burrs and old coatings, achieving uniform matte surface finishing for machinery parts, casting components and hardware workpieces.
